North and South shore offer many things to see and do. They are also our favorite areas, but all of Kauai is beautiful and worth exploring. From our experience, North shore is more natural with local shops and mountain views. South shore is more touristy with many more options for restaurants, resorts, and shopping.
Old Koloa Town is a shopping village full of fun shops to explore and great food.

Beautiful secluded beach with a steep trail to hike, but worth it!
Botantical garden in the mountains with a stunning drive up if a tour of the garden doesn't interest you, the mountain views alone are incredible.
